ABOUT DUDOG

A second home for your dog – professional, personal, and full of care.

DuDog was born from a deep love for dogs and the desire to create a place where their well-being truly comes first. A place where they feel safe, experience structure, have space to play and rest, and receive thoughtful, individual attention – every single day.

My name is Marcel Dekker, proud dog dad to Joris – a white Miniature Schnauzer who’s now 10 years old. Before him, I shared my life with two Airedale Terriers. I’ve been actively involved with dogs for as long as I can remember, from obedience training to agility. And now, I’ve turned that lifelong passion into my profession.

I completed the Basic Dog Course and the Dog Walking Service specialization at the Martin Gaus Academy (Edupet), and earned the official “Animal Keeper Dogs & Cats” certificate through AERES Barneveld. I’m currently training to become a Certified Canine Instructor as well, doing my internship at Van Stal dog training school in Amsterdam. I also work on-call at Doggiedog, the largest dog daycare in Amsterdam, and regularly look after the dogs of friends.

At DuDog, we offer dog day care, overnight stays, and a dog walking service – all in a warm and homelike setting, with personal attention for each dog. I live near beautiful heathland and forest areas where dogs can explore and roam freely under reliable recall.

In the near future, DuDog aims to expand with a day program for people with limited access to the job market. Dogs offer more than companionship – they provide structure, emotional connection, and purpose. We want to share that impact with others.

I look forward to giving your dog a happy, safe, and enriching experience. With DuDog, you can count on trustworthy, loving, and professional care.
